After being in the furniture business since 1987 it was time for us to open our own shop. We had the experience and the relationships with some of best craftsman and small furniture makers in America. What was holding me back was the huge expense of lease terms and finish out for a retail space in town. So in reaction to that reality we built a small shop here on our property. The name LOFT AND BUNGALOW comes from my love of modern furniture usually found in a loft-type setting and bungalow from the Craftsman Arts and Craft movement from the early 1900s.
